Dr TEO, Gin Swee Ernie
Faculty at NUS Business School | Vice Chairman for Blockchain Association Singapore
Dr Ernie is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer for the Department of Analytics and Operations at NUS Business School. He is also the co-founder of Dedoco, a leading blockchain enterprise technology company, and Vice Chairman for Blockchain Association Singapore.
Dr Ernie has been teaching workshops and classes on FinTech, blockchain, and financial inclusion since 2016. In addition, he has been involved in blockchain projects across a variety of industries, advising on the business processes and system design.
His current research areas centre on financial innovation, including cryptocurrencies, blockchain, and distributed ledgers. Dr Ernie has participated in over two dozen speaking engagements, collaborating with leading industry experts and presenting his research on blockchain and FinTech at conferences worldwide. He has several publications in top-tier journals such as The Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, The Journal of Financial Perspectives, and The B.E. Journal of Theoretical Economics. Dr Ernie holds a PhD in Economics from the University of New South Wales, where he focused his dissertation and research on applied game theory and industrial organisation.
