Participant Pathway

Throughout the learning journey of 9 to 10 months, the CSO programme will inform you through a mix of in-depth core modules and electives — providing you with solutions to business challenges your organisation confronts on a daily basis. The core modules will focus on key areas such as Global Strategy, Executive Growth Strategies & Global Leadership. After completing the core modules, you will select two online electives. During the elective period, you will dive deeper into how senior leaders can use their knowledge and skills in strategy formation and implementation to address the organisational challenges of tomorrow.

Engaging and Enriching Experience

Practitioner Stream

Participants will be invited to engage with executive-level practitioners, who will provide you with various perspectives and insights, based on their own experiences, as to how they had navigated personal and business challenges.

Project Stream

Project Stream

The success coach will drive programme engagement, addressing participant questions or concerns for assignments during the core programme, and coaching participants to apply the ideas to their own experience.

Community Stream

Engagement sessions for participants to give them opportunities within the session to learn, interact and collaborate with programme peers from various industries and regions.

The CSO Playbook

Throughout this programme, participants will complete a series of exercises as part of a CSO playbook. These exercises will prompt students to introspect on their role within a strategy domain and reimagine the application of strategic initiatives for their own organisation.

Programme Curriculum - Core Modules

Throughout the learning journey of 9 months, the CSO programme will focus on key areas such as Global Strategy, Executing Growth Strategies & Global Leadership.

Programme Curriculum - Elective Courses

After completing the core modules, you will select two online electives**. During the elective period, you will dive deeper into how senior leaders can use their knowledge and skills in strategy formation and implementation to address the organisational challenges of tomorrow.

  • Course 1: Digital Marketing: Strategies, Models and Frameworks

  • Course 2: Transforming Customer Experience: Strategies for Service Industry

  • Course 3: Business Analytics for Strategic Decisions

Campus Experience and Networking Event

Participants will be invited to attend a 1- Day Campus Immersion and Networking Event* (optional) at the end of the 9-month journey at NUS Business School. During this event, participants will have the opportunity to network with fellow global leaders and interact with programme faculty/directors.

Note:

  • *This is a majorly self-paced online programme with some live sessions with programme faculty. Post- session video recordings will be available for up to 12 months after programme completion. We have a curated panel of industry practitioners who will be conducting weekly live sessions for participants to clarify doubts. 

  • Assignments are reviewed either by success coach who is available to support participants in their learning journey and/or by the Emeritus grading team. The final number of quizzes, assignments and discussions will be confirmed closer to the programme start. 

  • For the on-campus networking session, participants will be responsible for making their own travel and accommodation arrangements. 

  • **An elective can only begin with a minimum of 15 students.
